UPDATING Brettonwood’s Associates Register and Register of Partner Organisations:


The Brettonwood Partnership Ltd ('Brettonwood') was formed as a professional management consultancy practice in 1985. Brettonwood acts in the spirit of United Nations Conference (Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, USA, 1944) which set the scene for developed countries to help the less developed nations of the world towards true economic growth.

Brettonwood's broad areas of interest in consulting include: 'Project Cycle Consultancy', Institution Building, Public Administration Reforms, Capacity Building, Governance, Economic and Social Development, Community Development, Rural Development, Enterprise Development, Women in Development, Economic Planning, SMEs and Employment Generation, Industrial Planning and Research including Policy Formulation and Implementation; multi-disciplinary work in areas such as: Judicial Reforms, Construction, Banking, Health, Education, Enterprise, Micro-credits, Information Technology, MIS; 'Process' and 'Resource' Consulting - including 'Focus Groups', 'Constraint Analysis Workshops for High Echelons in Government', Equal Opportunities and Access for minorities and disadvantages groups, and so on.

In the U.K. Brettonwood has worked in the areas of: urban renewal, inner city regeneration, Government's enterprise and training initiatives, local economic development, equal opportunities and access for minority groups, organisation, management, training etc. Brettonwood has a solid track record with UK's public, private & voluntary sectors clientele.

Brettonwood is Registered widely as Consultants: World Bank, Asian Development Bank, IADB - DACON Systems; UNDP, DFID, European Commission plus numerous government and private sector agencies. The Company is a member of the Institute of Management Consultancy (IMC) and its Principal, Mr Suhail Ibne Aziz, is a Fellow of the IMC (FCMC, FIMC) and founder Chairman (Third World Specialist Group) and a Council Member of IMC for two terms. Mr Aziz is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI). He gets mentions in ‘Who’s Who’ and ‘Debretts’.

With help from the British Government, Department of Trade & Industry's "Passport to Export" Scheme, Brettonwood is currently UPDATING the "Brettonwood's Associates Register" and its "Register of Partner Organisations". Brettonwood now invites Individual Consultants and organisations, within the above indicated fields of interest, to apply for inclusion on the Company's respective Registers.

1. Individual Experts: Individuals should have the following information available in order to register online:

1.   FULL Name
2.   Date of birth
3.   Nationality
4.   Civil status (married etc)
5.   Educational/Professional qualifications
6.   A 5–10 line statement of key skills
7.   Language skills: Reading, Writing, Speaking (1-5, 1 basic, 5 fluent)
8.   Professional bodies associated with.
9.   Other skills (Computer literacy etc)
10. Years with present employment
11. Country experience (worldwide experience - name countries)
12. Professional experience : Brief description of consultancy assignments (4/5 liners!) - client, country, duration,
       nature of work, outcomes (include as indicated in areas of expertise as relevant).
13. Publications etc: (Published work; public appointments held, etc).

2. Partner organisations for Consortia work: Brettonwood frequently does its work by associating with organisations/consultancies to enhance its capabilities as relevant and as allowed for by international aid agencies. Therefore Brettonwood wants to associate with relevant partner organisations. We would therefore request such firms to send your 'Presentations' in hard copy and electronically ('Word' - RTF) so that we may take matters further in mutual interest.
